Paula, Pat and Mary

Welcome to Highland Elementary!

The three cafeteria staff members at Highland Elementary are Mary, Pat and Paula. They have a combined 34 years of experience and serve about 175 breakfasts and 300 lunches a day. They enjoy serving at Highland Elementary because they say the kids are well-behaved, smart and fun!

The students’ favorite breakfast item is cheesebread and their favorite lunch items are pizza and hot dogs. The staff’s favorite lunch is Chicken Stew and Biscuit. The staff does an excellent job of helping students choose what they want from the menu items. They also set up their Choice Bar beautifully.

When asked what would surprise the teachers and students to know about the staff, they replied “it would surprise people to know that Pat is a grandma (she looks too young), Paula plays league football (she looks too small) and Mary is a college student (she looks too old)”.
